About Us
Parthenon Agency was formed in 2010 as a member-owned risk management company serving agriculturally based businesses in the upper Midwest. Our purpose is to develop and offer risk management solutions to our members during these ever-changing times.
The agency programs include:
- Access Insurance Association, a Minnesota self-insured workers compensation association.
- A member owned group captive insurance program which provides comprehensive property and casualty coverage.
- Compliance software which allows the members to document and demonstrate compliance with regulations from agencies ranging from DOT to OSHA.
Formation of the agency allowed the member cooperatives to vertically integrate their respective risk management needs; insurance, risk transfer or risk avoidance by focusing exclusively on agri-businesses, we are able to better mitigate and respond to the unique risks faced by our members.
Members (Customers)
The Parthenon Agency works with a group of approximately 40 agricultural cooperatives in the State of Minnesota. The group has annual revenues more than $5 billion and has a combined equity of over $1.2 billion.
Many of the members have been in business for over 100 years. By using Parthenon Agency as their risk management consultant, this group has been able to recognize cost savings and efficiency gains by sharing information, processes, tools, and procedures related to risk management. New members can expect to benefit from this established expertise.
